We are excited about Unleashed! 4.0 as the Lord has brought to mind some of the things that needs to be put in place and also the people that we are to network with. It will be yet another leap towards establishing sports ministry in Malaysian churches. Tentative dates are 6th-9th October 2010. Stay tuned for more news coming soon.
Since my schooling days I have been an adventurous person, and have also been involved in many sports. However, in the last 7 years, there has been a greater passion to be involved in the sports arena. Some of the sports events that I am involved in are platforms to ministry, others are purely for the fun and the enjoyment of that particular sport. No matter how you look at it, there will always be an opportunity to Make God Famous!

Contact Sports Enterprise
Contact Sports is a sports management company that was established in 2005 with a trilateral vision for People, Precision, and Performance. In the area of People, we want to be able to help people connect with others; believing that when people connect with others, they will advance further at a faster rate. It is also our vision to help people develop Precision skills in their game and provide the necessary resources to help people perform to the best of their ability.
"The Moment Everything Happens" is the slogan that we carry, and we believe that contact is needed before anything can happen. So it is our desire that we call make contact with each other in a greater manner so that we can build each other up.
We also have an arm called Contact Sports Ministries that organizes events for Christian Ministries. One such event that we have been organising each year is the "Unleashed Sports Leadership Convention". This event is a gathering of christian leaders, sports personalities, and sports leaders coming together to share ideas and network together. Look out for the details in our website.
Penang Floorball Association
In the year 2002, I was given the opportunity to attend a Sports Ministry Conference in Hong Kong. I believe that this was truly an appointment of God as i had no plans or even the knowledge that there was an conference on in the first place. During the conference, the delegates were introduced to a new sport called Floorball. It was sometime during the conference that there was a greater vision in what we can do with floorballl in Malaysia. With that, I was challenged further to bring floorball back to Penang. By the end of 2002, clubs were already established and the Penang Floorball Association was established in early 2003.
It is a great privillage in being the Founder and President of the Penang Floorball Association. To be given the mandate to pioneer such a great project has many challenges but it is always my joy to see many youth come together to play floorball in the schools and organizations. Making contact with these youth and seeing them enjoying themselves and each other in the team is simply wonderful.
The Association and the floorball scene in Penang has grown tremendously since its birth and it is my desire that it will continue to grow not only in Penang but also throughout the nation. The vision is big. The potential is enormous. The opportunities are endless.

Contact Floorball Club
Contact Floorball Club was established in 2005 with the intention of gathering more people to play floorball and thus promoting the sport. At that point of time there were some people who have played floorball but were not rooted in any club. Contact decided that we could not let talent be dormant and soon after got as many of these people that we know to join us in establishing Team Contact.
The year 2008 saw the club adopt the Fireant as its mascot. We have also since started a second team called the Bullets. It is interesting how a simple thing like that has also strengthened out ties and created a greater unity and purpose in this team.
The club has come a long way since it started, but I must admit that it is definately not there yet. There is still much to do as a floorball club, but exciting thing about this club is that it is very tight and we enjoy playing together tremendously. Check out our stories on the Blog.
Malaysian Floorball Association
I had the opportunity to play with the national team since 2004 and from then onwards it has been a great and excting journey that God has mapped out for me. Playing with the national team has caused me to see sports in a different perspective and it has also fueled the God given passion for floorball. I have retired from playing in the national team as of this year 2009 and have taken another challenge in coaching the team. It is a great experience and it provides many opportunities for contact and ministry.
I have also been given the opportunity to serve with the committee of the Asia Oceanic Floorball Confederation. Although I am not doing much at this point of time, yet it is an open door to the many possibilities that are ahead of us that only God knows. Being involved in floorball at a national level is truely an exciting journey!
